The history of the Bennati pasta factory
SINCE 1962
Our fresh pasta Bennati is named after our family. The story begins with our founders, grandpa Ottavio e grandma Marisa, whom in the 60’s began to make pasta from their home in the suburbs of Verona. Grandma Marisa would roll the dough and make tagliatelle and tortellini by hand while grandpa Ottavia would deliver this popular product to the families and restaurants in the area aboard his vespa.
In the 70’s and 80’s the activity started to grow and the Bennati family moved to San Martino Buon Albergo where we remain still to this day in our factory of over a thousand square meters: here we produce the classic shapes of the artisanal pasta as well as shapes that are still created by hand. Craftsmanship, quality, and quantity are harmoniously adapted to a large-scale production in our pasta factory.
